Turtle's Toybox is a non-profit organization that takes in new and gently-loved
toys and clothes, and gives them to families that have been affected by disasters
such as fires, floods, ETC.
For 13 years, Crystal Davis has ran her own charity that she began with the help
of Angel Davis (Aunt), John Davis (Father), and Cathy Dietrich (Grandmother).
Crystal has single handedly collected most of the donations for "her children" that
have lost their toys and feel lost throught disaster. Crystal (nickname Turtle) has
donated to many organizations and institutions including Erie Shriner's Children's
Hospital, Women's Mercy Center, Emmaus Soup Kitchen, Ms. Clara's Neighborhood Center
(seen on Extreme Home makeover) and donated her time to this project.
Crystal is a 12th grader at Corry Area Middle/High School. Her hobbies and activities
including but not limited to, Girl Scouts, YMCA, Union City Fire Flyers Flag Color Guards.
She is a very busy young lady but still finds time for family and friends to go hunting
and fishing, but she enjoys spending her spare time at Presque Isle beaches in Erie, Pa!
Crystal also participates in local craft fairs with crocheted items donated by her grandmother...all proceeds go toward Turtle's Toy Box purchases!
